I started fishing at age 9 fishing the Rivers Lodden and Blackwater on my front doorstep for Barbel and Chub whilst competition fishing for my local club where I often took home both the Junior and Adults trophies. Caught my first carp aged 10 from "Welly" stalked out on floating crust where I used to go tench fishing as a child. Moved to Wales and took up Carp fishing, of all places! As a weekend angler, I now target waters across the bridge back into England and fish locally in the winter. My target waters are Rockford, Roach Pit, Dinton, Fox Pool to name a few and plan to target a rare Winter Welsh Forty soon..........
